South CCGs publish five year health and social care strategy
Clinical Commissioning Groups across the country have come together as geographical ‘units of planning’ to respond to NHS England’s requirement for the production of a five year strategy for health and social care.
The four CCGs in South Nottinghamshire (City, Nottingham North and East, Nottingham West and Rushcliffe) have been working with local authority partners and NHS providers to plan how services could be commissioned and delivered differently in the future to address an increase in demand on services and financial pressures.
Feedback from patients, carers and service-users through the A Call to Action programme of engagement has been reflected in the strategy and ongoing engagement with local people will continue to inform implementation plans.
The South Nottinghamshire Transformation Programme five year strategy was submitted to NHS England on 20 June and can be downloaded here.
