NHS England release latest findings of GP Patient Survey

The annual GP Patient Survey is an England-wide survey, which asks people about their experiences of their GP Practice.

In NHS Nottingham North and East CCG, 5,145 questionnaires were sent out, and 2,289 were returned completed. This represents a response rate of 44%.

The GP Patient Survey measures patients’ experiences across a range of topics, including:

  • Making appointments
  • Waiting times
  • Perceptions of care at appointments
  • Practice opening hours
  • Out-of-hours services

Many of the practices in Nottingham North and East performed well for patient satisfaction, overall 84% of respondents rated their overall experience as good or very good.

Calverton Practice was among the top ten practices in Nottinghamshire, with Giltbrook, Newthorpe and Plains View also receiving high overall ratings.
